1 · Acceptance
By installing or using the Inrust desktop application or mobile application (the “Software”), you accept this agreement. If you do not accept it, do not install and do not use the Software.
2 · Licence granted
Inrust grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the Software for your private use. This licence transfers no ownership right.
3 · Restrictions
You may not:
- copy, publish, distribute, rent, sell or make the Software available to third parties;
- modify the Software, derive a work from it or incorporate all or part of it into another product;
- remove or alter any copyright, trade mark or authorship notice;
- use the Software to build a competing service, or extract its data for the purpose of reselling it;
- attempt to circumvent the authentication, the rate limits or the access controls of the Inrust servers;
- query the Inrust servers by automated means beyond the normal use of the Software.
Acts of decompilation permitted for interoperability purposes by articles 5 and 6 of directive 2009/24/EC are reserved and are not restricted by this agreement.
4 · Pairing and third-party accounts
The Software interoperates with third-party services (the Rust+ service from Facepunch Studios, Steam). It is up to you to hold the necessary accounts and to comply with their own terms. These services may change or stop working at any time, without any liability on our part.
5 · Published ban information
The Software may display ban information as published by the public Steam API for accounts you have interacted with. This information comes from Valve Corporation and not from Inrust.
Inrust carries out no investigation, makes no finding and expresses no opinion on the behaviour of a player. This data may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. It is provided for information only and must not be used to accuse, harass or take action against anyone. You remain solely responsible for the use you make of it.
6 · Reports you record
Where the Software lets you record the reports you have made in the game, you warrant that the information transmitted is accurate and made in good faith. You grant Inrust a non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free licence to host, process and aggregate this information for the purpose of operating the service. Inrust may remove any contribution and suspend any account that misuses this feature.
7 · Interaction with the game
The Software does not modify the game, does not read its memory, does not alter its files and does not act in the game on your behalf. You are responsible for complying with Facepunch Studios' terms and with the rules of the servers you play on.
8 · Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in our privacy policy. It forms an integral part of this agreement.
9 · Paid features
Certain features may be offered for payment. Their terms, prices and billing conditions are those displayed at the time of subscription. The features offered free of charge are liable to change.
10 · No warranty
The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, in particular as to its fitness for a particular purpose, its availability or the accuracy of the data displayed. Mandatory statutory warranties owed to consumers are reserved.
11 · Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Inrust may not be held liable for any indirect damage, loss of data, loss of in-game progress or loss of opportunity resulting from the use of the Software. Liability in the event of personal injury, wilful misconduct or gross negligence is not excluded.
12 · Termination
This licence terminates automatically in the event of a breach on your part. Inrust may suspend access to its servers in the event of abuse. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the Software.
13 · Governing law
This agreement is governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence and the right to bring proceedings before the competent courts of that country.
14 · Changes
Inrust may update this agreement. Any substantial change will be signalled in the Software. Continuing to use it after notification constitutes acceptance.
15 · Independence
Inrust is an independent application, not affiliated with, approved or sponsored by Facepunch Studios Ltd, Valve Corporation or Epic Games. “Rust”, “Rust+” and “Steam” are trade marks of their respective holders, cited purely descriptively.
