Terms of use

End-user licence agreement · Version 1.0 — 11 October 2026 · Closed beta

Language. This English text is provided for convenience. The French version is the authoritative one in the event of any discrepancy.

1. Acceptance

By installing or using the InRust desktop application or mobile application (the “Software”), you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

2. Licence granted

InRust grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the Software for your own private use. This licence does not transfer any ownership.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

Acts of decompilation permitted for interoperability purposes by Articles 5 and 6 of Directive 2009/24/EC are reserved and are not restricted by this Agreement.

4. Pairing and third-party accounts

The Software interoperates with third-party services (Facepunch Studios’ Rust+ service, Steam). You are responsible for holding the required accounts and for complying with their own terms. These services may change or stop working at any time, with no liability on our part.

5. Published ban information

The Software may display ban information as published by Steam’s public API for accounts you have interacted with. This information comes from Valve Corporation, not from InRust.

InRust performs no investigation, makes no finding and expresses no opinion about any player’s conduct. The data may be incomplete, delayed or erroneous. It is provided for information only and must not be used to accuse, harass or take action against anyone. You remain solely responsible for any use you make of it.

6. Reports you submit

Where the Software lets you record reports you have made in-game, you warrant that the information you submit is accurate and submitted in good faith. You grant InRust a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process and aggregate that information in order to operate the service. InRust may remove any submission and suspend any account that misuses this feature.

7. Interaction with the game

The Software does not modify the game, does not read its memory and does not alter its files. Certain optional convenience features may send keyboard input to the game window; they are disabled by default and remain under your control. You are responsible for complying with Facepunch Studios’ terms and with the rules of the servers you play on.

8. Personal data

Processing of personal data is described in our privacy policy. It forms part of this Agreement.

9. Paid features

Some features may be offered against payment. Their terms, prices and billing conditions are those displayed at the time of subscription. Features available free of charge may change.

10. No warranty

The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to fitness for a particular purpose, availability or accuracy of data. Mandatory legal warranties owed to consumers are reserved.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, InRust shall not be liable for any indirect damage, loss of data, loss of in-game progress or loss of opportunity arising from use of the Software. Liability for personal injury, fraud or gross negligence is not excluded.

12. Termination

This licence terminates automatically if you breach it. InRust may suspend access to its servers in the event of abuse. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the Software.

13. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence and the right to bring proceedings before the courts having jurisdiction there.

14. Changes

InRust may update this Agreement. Substantial changes will be notified in the Software. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.

15. Independence

InRust is an independent application, not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Facepunch Studios Ltd, Valve Corporation or Epic Games. “Rust”, “Rust+” and “Steam” are trademarks of their respective owners, cited descriptively only.
